Konsep Dasar – Apa itu alamat IP? Prinsip dasar Pengalamatan, Pengalamatan dalam jaringan bahawa dalam 1 jaringan yang sama device memiliki alamat yang berbeda-beda. Meski beda ada ketentuanya, ada bagian alamat yang sama. IP Address (Alamat IP) digunakan sebagai indentitas perangkat yang terhubung ke jaringan. Saat ini ada IPv4 dan IPv6, IPv4 Panjangnya 32 bitd an IPv6 panjang128 bit digunakan untuk masa depan jaringan komputer dan Internet. Dalam Materi pengantar ini baru membahas IPv4.

Setiap host di dalam suatu network punya alamat (ID) yang unique. Ada kemungkinan suatu host punya alamat yang sama dengan host lain tetapi berada di network yang berbeda. Ada banyak jaringan. Setiap jaringan harus diberi ID (alamat) untuk membedakan antara jaringan yang satu dengan jaringan yang lain, jika jaringan-jaringan tersebut saling berhubungan. Di dalam Jaringan Global, suatu host ada dua alamat:

  • Alamat Jaringan (Network Address/Network Number))
  • Alamat Host (Host Address/Host Number)

ID suatu host secara global ditulis dengan cara : alamat network terlebih dahulu, diikuti dengan alamat host. Contoh:
192.168.3.12 (Masking /24 atau 255.255.255.0) maka 192.168.3. 0adalah alamat network, bagian akhir 12 adalah alamat host di dalam network tersebut, 192.168.3.12 adalah alamat Hostnya.

Pengalaman dalam jaringan, dalam 1 jaringan yang sama device memiliki alamat yang berbeda-beda. Meski beda ada ketentuanya, ada bagian alamat yang sama. Bagian alamat yang sama ini menunjukan alamat Network. Jaringan bisa terdiri dari beberapa network, saling terhubung melalui router.

Alamat komputer dalam sebenarnya berupa bilangan biner seperti : 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 dst.

  • Untuk Alamat IP v4 terdiri dari 32 bit
  • Alamat IPv6 terdiri dari 128 bit

Dalam penggunaannya alamat ditulis dalam bentuk bilangan Desimal, bukan Biner. Sehingga perlu tahun bagaimana Desimal ke Biner dan sebaliknya.

  • Jika angka 1 semua maka akan seperti ini : 11111111 11111111 11111111 11111111
  • Jika angka 0 semua maka akan seperti ini : 0000000 0000000 00000000 00000000
  • Angka bisa gabungan Nol dan Satu : 0101010 11111111 10000000 00000001

Contoh Soal :

  1. Contoh IP dalam Biner : 10100001 00001111 0000001 0000010 IP dalam Desimal?
  2. Contoh IP dalam Desimal : 10.196.12.1 IP dalam biner?
