Jika kamu konek denga Switch yang tentuknya memiliki beberapa port, jika terhubung indikator akan menyala, biasanya hijau. Namun ada kalanya ketemu yang beda warna. Lampu Indikator di Switch ada yang berwarna Hijau ada yang merah /orange ini kenapa ya?
Itu Indikator (keterangan di kanan atas) :
- Merah 10/100 Mbps
- Hijau 1000 Mbps (1GBps)
- Mati (tidak terhubung / perangkat off)

Ini contoh di Switch DLINK DGS-1024 (Type Switch unmanage 24 port sudah Gigabit Switch). Coab Cek LAN card sudah Gigabit ethernet belum, Jika memang masih fast Ethernet indikator merah/pink akan menyala. Namun harusnya koneksi masih berfungsi normal, hanya saja Speed dapatnya 100 Mbps.
Jika ternyata sudah LAN card sudah Gigabit namun masih belum hijau, coba cek lagi kabel LAN apakah ada yang salah koneksi/kendor atau masalah yang lain.
Seharusnya jika LAN Card atau Switch lain sudah Gigabit bisa dapat 1000 Mbps indikatir hijau. Jika sudah Gibabit tapi masih terbaca 100 Mbps coba cek kabel LAN atau jika device LAN bisa di konfigurasi cek pastikan mode koneksi otomatis. Menyesuiakan 100 atau 1000 Mbps.
